Aljaž Bedene (born 18 July 1989 in Ljubljana) is a Slovenian tennis player.

Aljaz BedeneHe won five Futures and five Challenger singles titles. In doubles he won one Challenger title and two Futures titles. Aljaž is right handed and has a two-handed backhand. He is a member of the Slovenia Davis Cup team. His highest ranking is No. 71 in singles and No. 127 in doubles.

Starting the year in 2015 Aircel Chennai Open, after passing over the qualifying round, Aljaz reached the semifinals by defeating Lukas Lacko, No. 2 seed Feliciano Lopez and No. 5 seed Guillermo Garcia Lopez. In the semifinal, he stormed past the No. 3 seed and his good friend Roberto Bautista Agut in 3 sets. With this impressive win, he made the first ATP final in his career, but lost to Stan Wawrinka 3-6, 4-6.

At the Australian Open Alijaz faced World No. 1 Novak Djokovic in the first round, but lost in straight sets.
