When CiCi Bellis went on court to play her Metropolia Orange Bowl Junior Championship she already supplant China’s Xu Shilin, as the reigning No.1 player in the world.
In the semifinal, Bellis squared off against Junior Fed Cup teammate Sofia Kenin . The US girls, see above photo, won the 2014 trophy in September. Kenin lives only minutes away from the Orange Bowl and has cultivated her strokes and high tennis IQ with her father and with Proworld Tennis Academy in Delray Beach Florida.
Utilizing a wide variety of strokes, Kenin won against CiCi Bellis in the semi final Orange Bowl Championship 2014 girls 18s with a 6-3, 6-2. Both are good friends and it was a fair and tough match.
